Why They Chose Juniper For Their Wedding

A deep and sophisticated green, Juniper is an elegant choice for any bridal party. Known in colorstrology as a color that is attractive, kind, and intriguing, Juniper exudes a sense of composure while having an air of mystery. Ideal for a more formal, indoor wedding, Juniper is perfect for a structured bridesmaid dress and paired with nude pumps and statement jewelry.

Juniper is just such a sophisticated color, not to mention the name is great too. I first found out about this color through my interior designer, who suggested that we paint the study this color. I absolutely love the way it looks with beige, which is another color for our wedding palette. When it came time to choose the bridesmaid dresses, the girls loved the idea of wearing Juniper.

I wanted to keep my wedding simple, so the color palette was simply Juniper and white, which turned out to be just perfect for the country club venue where we got married. It was in spring and the rose bushes were in full bloom. With the bridesmaids in Juniper and the pink, red, peach, and white roses – the atmosphere was just magical. Not the mention the photos as well!

My husband and I met when we were both traveling through Italy. It was in a small town where we were both spending a couple of days, learning more about wine and making bread. It was so idyllic. After we met, we used to take long walks through the hillside outside of town, where everything was lush and green, and Juniper reminds of that scenery.

I was born on May 3rd, which means that my birthday color in the context of colorstrology is Juniper. I really love this kind of stuff and just knew from the start that I had to somehow incorporate Juniper into my wedding. I've always loved it and hold my bridesmaids about it and they thought it would actually make for a great bridesmaid dress color because it's also very flattering.
