Why They Chose Turquoise For Their Wedding

Turquoise is a luminous hue that combines the soothing elements of blue and the invigorating elements of green. It evokes a sense of serenity of the ocean water and, in many cultures, symbolizes wellbeing. Turquoise is a flattering choice for bridesmaid dresses for its cool and warm undertones and pairs seamlessly with many wedding palettes. It brings energy to more neutral tones like browns and perfectly complements warmer hues like pinks and magentas.

READ WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING

I've always loved Turquoise. It's always been my favorite color. I guess I got lucky because my bridesmaids all looked really good in Turquoise even though they were of all different skin tones. It's just such a flattering color. The bridesmaid dresses had a Grecian feel to them and the girls looked great.

- Alyssa

I knew that I wanted a cooler color for my bridesmaids since none of them are the girly type. But instead of going for your typical light blue or navy, I decided to choose something that's a bit more neutral. Turquoise also went well with the tropical location for our wedding as well.

- Janice

Turquoise was one of the main colors in my wedding palette because it's neither feminine nor masculine. I think it definitely has a universal appeal and it's just so easy on the eyes. I paired it with some different earthy tones and it looked amazing. Our entire wedding venue looked so calm and welcoming.

- Colette

My bridesmaids were the ones who voted on Turquoise for the dresses and I'm so glad they did. I knew I wanted either green or blue for the bridesmaid dresses but couldn't decide which one to go with. They were the ones who suggested Turquoise, which turned out to be the perfect compromise. I also let them choose their own style and the result was just gorgeous.

- Cassandra

I wanted mismatching bridesmaid dresses and chose 3 colors: Turquoise, Blue, and Green. The bridesmaids still looked like a coherent group but they all chose their own color out of the three and style. In the end, it was my maid-of-honor who wore the Turquoise gown and she looked just beautiful!
