Why They Chose Ivory For Their Wedding

Ivory, also called 'eggshell' or 'cream', is a universally flattering shade of white. It has a quietly muted wash of yellow that's perfect for brides with pink or blue undertones in their complexion. Ivory is especially fitting for weddings with a warm palette and can work well with any theme or season.

READ WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING

I'm very fair skinned and I knew that a stark white wedding gown would wash me out. Ivory has a yellow undertone, which balanced really well with my complexion. I also think it went well with my hazel eyes.

- Sophie

My wedding had a Roaring 20s theme so I knew that I wanted a gown that made me look like I walked right out of that decade. Ivory definitely has a more vintage feel to it than the other white tones. My dress had a cowl neckline and a sheath silhouette. The whole look made me feel so glamorous.

- Caroline

Our wedding venue was in this stunning cathedral with white marble floors. I didn't want my dress to blend in too much with the décor so I chose ivory. Also, I think a off-white color is just more fitting for a traditional ceremony like ours.

- Adrienne

We had a very intimate rustic wedding last Fall, so I wanted to add a bit of warmth into my look. Ivory went really well with the cozy atmosphere, antique décor, and even the leaves, which were just starting change color.

- Alina

To me, ivory is just a more elegant color than stark white. It has a more romantic feel and is more appropriate for the bohemian look we were going for. My dress had layers of ruffles and I was absolutely obsessed with it.
