I knew from the start that I didn't want to wear a white wedding dress. After seeing so many celebrities choose Blushing Pink, I really couldn't resist trying it myself. I ordered a fabric swatch on Azazie first and just fell in love with the color. It suited my skin tone so well that I just went ahead and ordered a dress right away. It was perfect.
For me, Blushing Pink really epitomizes love and romance. I'm kind of a girly girl as it is, so having the chance to wear a pink dress was kind of a dream come true. I also knew that I wanted a floor-length skirt with a lot of tulle, so I ended up choosing the Azazie Anaya. It was just perfect and I definitely felt like a princess.
I didn't think that I would end up choosing a colored wedding dress but the Blushing Pink collection on Azazie just spoke to me more than the other colors. I took a risk and I couldn't be happier that I did. It also looked great with the ash gray bridesmaid dresses.
Everyone was surprised with my choice for a Blushing Pink wedding dress but they definitely understood my choice after seeing the dress in person. I had an intimate wedding in my parents' backyard, where the décor was very whimsical. The soft Blushing Pink gown was just the perfect choice.
I initially wanted my bridesmaids to wear Blushing Pink but they wanted to wear a darker color instead. After seeing the color, I ended up being the one to wear it! I just loved how unique the gown looked. I think it's time that brides know that White isn't the only way to go.
